JLG is a key sponsor of this year’s International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) Summit and IAPA, which takes place in Copenhagen on March 13 and 14.
A leading global manufacturer of mobile elevating work platforms and telehandlers, JLG said it recognises the important role of IPAF in promoting the safe usage of powered access equipment worldwide.
In support of IPAF’s initiatives, and emphasising its commitment to health and safety, JLG/Power Towers will be the headline sponsor of this year’s summit and awards, and JLG’s subsidiary Hinowa will sponsor the networking lunch, said the Oshkosh Corporation company.
The event in Copenhagen gives JLG an opportunity to highlight its strong presence in Europe as it sends an international delegation, which comprises representatives from the US and the UK, the Netherlands, France, Poland and Italy. The manufacturer said it will also emphasise its industry-leading digital capabilities under the theme of ‘Smart connection without borders’.
In addition, presentations by Kasia Gotlib, Senior Product Marketing Specialist, and James W Hahessy, Product Manager for Connected Solutions, will inform attendees on how OEMs are facing the future, with a focus on people and technology.
JLG prioritises safety
“We fully support IPAF in its endeavours to enhance safety in the industry, and as safety is our first priority, we are proud to be sponsors of this year’s summit and awards,” said Jonathan Dawson, Managing Director at Power Towers.
“We look forward to sharing some of our latest activities, and discussing how we can further involve the next generation and inspire young innovators in our evolving industry.”
