Böcker will present a fully electric truck crane in steel-aluminium design at the Bauma 2022 expo. The AK 48e model does not only work completely electrically in crane and platform mode, mounted on a Mercedes eActros the 27 t carrier also travels to site exclusively battery-powered.
In addition to the fully electrically powered crane, the world’s leading trade fair for the construction industry will focus on other innovations that make sustainable work suitable for everyday use. On the open-air ground south, booth 1203/2, the truck crane AK 37e, the trailer crane AHK 36e and the inclined lift Junior 24e will demonstrate how simple and at the same time powerful emission-free operation can be due to a 230 V electric motor. For the first time, the readily available connection to a normal household socket enables permanent electric operation on any building. The new developments operate with optimized consumption and require significantly less energy than comparable devices. Their strong battery capacity also ensures long self-sufficient use even without an external power supply. As a hybrid, the 230 V truck crane AK 37e can operate either in plug-in mode or use the truck’s conventional PTO combustion engine for power supply.
The AK 52 truck crane invites visitors to take a platform ride over the Munich trade show grounds. Converted into an aerial platform, up to six trade fair guests can enjoy the view in the hydraulically extendable and rotatable access platform which can be raised to 3.5 m. In addition to the most powerful Böcker truck crane AK 52 with payloads up to 12 t, the truck crane AK 42, will be on display on the open-air site. Being already presented a few months ago, this model impresses with its high operating speeds all crane functions as well as with a great lateral stability for heavy loads. A special highlight is its innovative boom geometry impressing with fully vertical main boom, 180-degree jib position and tower crane mode.
